CANCER TREATMENT
Systemic anti-cancer treatments have serious side effects. Our program is aimed at treating cancerous tumors by providing a small dose of PLEX formulated chemotherapeutic agents that is released locally, in a controlled manner over a prolong period of time, as needed to treat the tumor.
We have successfully demonstrated the efficacy of our first prototype in a clinically relevant animal model of aggressive malignant tumor.
